Having just fitted the new 18x8.5 AVATA Rims on our Model Y Performance, as we travel many B and C roads, + 255/55r18 Tires. Fitment advice from Vincent was spot on - likewise, courier followup by Vincent and Tiger was exceptional (courier mistake) - only travelled 30 kms since fitting, and extremely happy with the outcome.

Great option for my Wife's BYD Sealion 7. The car only comes with a puncture repair/inflation kit which would be useless for a sidewall puncture. We have friends that live down the coast (about 160km away), so we just put this in the boot on a long trip, and it stays in the garage otherwise. This is a great kit: The wheel is excellent quality, and the whole kit includes everything you need; jack, tools, etc.

Haven’t had to use it yet (touch wood), but just having this spare in the boot is a load off my mind. The quality of the tyre is actually better than I expected – thick sidewalls, decent tread. The jack and wrench are well-made too, not cheap junk. For a car like the Sealion that doesn’t come with a spare, this kit’s a smart buy.

Chucked it in the boot just before our Byron trip. Didn’t need it but glad I had it.

Didn’t realise it even came with a tyre bag. Changed a flat today and chucked the dirty wheel straight in the bag – saved my boot from getting filthy. Nice touch, CyberMetals.

We did a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide recently and brought this kit just in case. Didn’t end up needing it, but it was good to know we had it. The tyre fits the Sealion 6 perfectly, and the whole pack is tidy and easy to store. You never think you need a spare until you really do – this is the kind of kit every EV owner should have.

Ordered the spare kit for my 2024 Outlander and it turned up quicker than expected. All quality gear — proper tyre, jack, wrench. Feels like it’ll handle anything the Aussie roads throw at it.

I don’t trust foam and patch kits. Real spare is the way to go.
